Married people often say that, after all the planning and preparations, their actual wedding was a blur. There is so much going on around them that their processing abilities temporarily slow down. That’s how I felt at our cd release show last night at the Cat’s Cradle. The idea that it was sold out (over 650 people) and they had to turn people away temporarily blew my circuits, and it was all I could do to take some mental snapshots of the amazing lighting and decorations that had all come together for the show. I’m grateful for the people who helped us document it so that maybe we can go back and relive it for the first time. But most of all, thanks to all of you who shared your Valentine’s Day with us and who make living and performing in the Triangle such a joy. After the Pour House show in Raleigh this coming Friday (with the Jackets, the new side project of some of the Chatham County Line guys), we’ll be heading off for frozen climes, so we sure do appreciate the warm sendoff. Hope to see you soon!
